We do not require an account to browse the Site. If you choose to contact us via the contact form or email, we receive whatever information you voluntarily include in your message (typically: your name, email address, and message body).
We do not collect payment information on this Site. All transactions occur on third-party vendor sites (e.g. when you click an affiliate link and purchase on ElevenLabs or Hostinger).
4. How we use your information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site (e.g. understanding which reviews are most popular).

5. Third-party services we use

- Google AdSense - display advertising. AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to our site or other sites. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- Vercel - hosting and content delivery network. Vercel may log request data as part of normal service operation. See Vercel Privacy Policy.
- FontAwesome (CDN) - icon font delivery. CDN requests log IP address and user agent.
6. Advertising and affiliate disclosure
This Site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Some links on this Site are affiliate links: if you click one and subsequently make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never influence our editorial rankings or scores - see our About page for our full testing methodology.
Current affiliate partners: ElevenLabs (voice AI), DigitalOcean (cloud hosting), Hostinger (web hosting). We always try to mark affiliate links visibly, but you can identify them by checking the URL - they contain referral/tracking parameters.
7. Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We use cookies for:
- Strictly necessary - to remember your theme (dark/light) and language (zh/en) preference. Disabling these will reset your preferences on every visit.
- Analytics - Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _gid) help us understand traffic patterns. You can opt out via your browser or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Advertising - Google AdSense cookies (e.g. _gcl_au, IDE) for ad personalization. Manage via Google Ads Settings.

8. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

9. Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Data retention
We retain analytics data for 14 months (the Google Analytics default), after which it is automatically deleted. Server logs are retained for 30 days for security and debugging, then purged. Contact form messages are retained for as long as needed to respond and for our records, typically not longer than 2 years.
11. International transfers
Our Site is hosted on Vercel's global edge network, which means your data may be processed in data centers outside your country of residence (including the United States). By using the Site you understand your data may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.
12. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information: HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls on our analytics and hosting accounts, and regular review of third-party service providers. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the Site homepage for at least 30 days. Your continued use of the Site after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
